The project is shaped by my personal bond with nature and my desire to convey the intrinsic connection between human existence and the natural environment.

Drawing inspiration from the tradition of 17th-century anthropomorphic landscape paintings, I depicted human bodies embedded in the natural landscape. By using earth pigments, this project critiques the idea that humans shape the land when, in fact, the land shapes our existence.

The project recognises the need for a more harmonious relationship between humanity and the planet inviting the viewer to reconsider their everyday choices and their lifestyles.
